When to use it
- Meetings are long and not very useful.
- You want everyone to be able to propose a topic.
- You are looking for a light format for a team check-in.
How to do it, step by step
- Everyone writes their topics on notes (a few minutes).
- Present them briefly, then vote (for example 3 votes each).
- Rank by votes: start with the top one.
- Discuss each topic for a fixed time (5 minutes).
- When time is up, the group votes to continue or move to the next topic.
Example
Topics proposed: sprint priorities, documentation tool, meeting organisation. The most-voted one comes first for 5 minutes, then the group decides whether to extend.
